We're terribly saddened to inform you that Simon Gelber, our President, teammate and friend, passed away on 01/01/2020. Simon was rushed to hospital over Christmas for emergency major heart surgery and despite putting up a brave fight, passed away on New Years day.
We all know what a champion Simon was for OHCC and his passing will leave a huge void in our club. Because of Simon, the club toured Zimbabwe, hold an annual Lord's dinner, continue to tour Devon and he moulded the club into what it is today. He allowed us to create memories and friendships that will last a lifetime through OHCC.
He will be sorely missed and never replaced.
